Shortly after your procedure is scheduled, our Endoscopy Case Coordinator will contact your insurance company to verify benefits and eligibility. Our coordinator will prepare an estimate of the cost of your procedure. This estimate includes supplies, equipment, personnel, and use of facilities.
This estimate does not include:
- Your physicians’ fees.
- Anesthesia fees.
- Laboratory test fees, ie: blood work or EKG required prior to procedure.
- Pathology fees – examination of any tissue or specimens.
You will be informed of the copayment, coinsurance, and/or deductible amount for which you are responsible to pay at the time of service. Any patient without insurance or whose insurance does not cover the scheduled endoscopy procedure will be asked to pay for their procedure on the day of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. The business office staff at the Endoscopy Center at Robinwood will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding insurance coverage.
